Pharmacology

Docemus’ pharmacological field, addressed to countries with low-income and poor medical-health professionalism, is mainly directed at the training of drug manipulation and storage personnel.
In particular the staff will be provided with the technical bases for proper pharmacy environment management, or in any case for the storage, preparation and distribution of medicines and medical aids for hospitals and the community. Personnel will be kept up-to-date with the rules on storage of medicines and hospital medical aids, on poisoning and drugs/narcotics preservation, on the rules of proper galenical preparation and on the disposal of outdated or damaged products. The staff will also be prepared to provide information and health education to the population to encourage, where possible, proper self-medication.
